IMPORTANT DATES:

November 18 – CAHA Board meeting
ANNUAL SPAGHETTI DINNER
What a great crowd for the dinner! The Rosetown Legion was a great location with plenty of room and outdoor space for energetic bodies! Thank you to everyone who helped out before, during and after the dinner to make the dinner, raffles and auction a success! Special thanks to Lisa McClellan, Denise Gulner and Nancy Crawford who performed tons of pre-dinner errands and preparation. A huge thank you to Dinner Co-chairs, LeAnn Kopic and Nancy Crawford for all your work.
If you were the winning bidder of the Neon Sign, LeAnn Kopic has the hardware with which to hang the sign. Please contact her at lkopic09@hotmail.com and she will be happy to get it to you.
MOUTHGUARDS
It is District 1 and CAHA rule that all players are to use a mouth guard that is attached to the helmet at all times when on the ice. Mouth guards are an important piece of equipment that needs to be in good condition to help prevent injuries. Referees MAY give a player a warning if a player is not using the proper mouth guard, but they CAN give the player a misconduct penalty.
BIFF LOCKER ROOMS
It has been requested that CAHA teams work on better management of the locker rooms at the arena.
· If one team is scheduled for an ice hour, you may use one of the big locker rooms (either number 5 or 6 on the parking lot side of the arena).
· If the next ice hour is one team for a practice, they can have the other big locker room. This way a big locker room is available each ice hour for an incoming team.
· When two CAHA teams are scheduled to share an ice hour for a practice, use two separate locker rooms. One team is to use either number 5 or 6 and the other team can use both the smaller rooms (numbers 1 and 2) to dress. When the team using the smaller rooms is finished dressing, please move all equipment to one of the two rooms and leave the other room open for use for the next ice hour.
This is especially important now that games have begun. The CAHA home team will be able to have a big locker room and the visiting team will begin using a small locker room as they arrive at our arena.
COMO HOCKEY AND MINNESOTA WILD
The Como Hockey Association has been selected to sell programs before the Minnesota Wild game on Thursday, November 20th. A portion of the proceeds from the sales will come back directly to our organization. If you and your Como player wish to volunteer to help this evening, please contact Bob Skweres at bob.skweres@jacobs-mgmt.com
HOCKEY FEES PAYMENTS
If you selected the three-payment plan for paying your family’s fees, the third payment is due by November 15th. You may either mail the payment to CAHA, P.O Box 17098, St. Paul, MN 55117 or put your payment (with appropriate identifying information) in a sealed envelope and put it in the CAHA business envelope in the arena office at Biff. We expect and appreciate all families keep current in their payments as it allows CAHA to pay our ice time bills on time.
