Online Registration

MN Hockey has changed the Residency policy as it has been known.  Please visit this MN Hockey website page for further information on the now 'Participation Rule'.  Please note that for the 2009-2010 season, players who participated with CAHA during the 2008-2009 season but attended school outside of the Como's residency boundaries will have a one-time choice to continue participation with their association of residence, ie. CAHA. That eligibility will continue through their Youth or Girls' Hockey career unless they move outside of the Como area, at which time school attendance would be used to determine Affiliate participation.

USA Hockey Registration:  All families will register first with USA Hockey this year.  Online Registration will be a 2-part process this season.  CAHA will be directing all registrants to USA Hockey's registration page to first complete the USA/MN Hockey registration portion, then back to the CAHA site for completion.

All families must first register all players with USA Hockey.  In doing so you will get a confirmation number that you must use when registering with this site. The USA Hockey season goes from May 1 through April 30 of each year.

USA Hockey Online registration for the 2009-10 season will be available starting May 1, 2009.

For USA Hockey online registration:

Each participant will pay the USA Hockey fee of $30 if age 7 or older. There is an additional Affilitation fee of $10 that registers your player for MN Hockey.  The USA/MN Hockey fee is waived for age 6 (birth year 2003) and younger.  The registration must still be completed to get the confirmation number.

Once you have registered all players with USA Hockey, and have your confirmation pages, please return to this site to log in and register with CAHA.

In-Person Registration

In-person registration will be held this year at the Como Lake Pavillion in the Larry Kitto Room (downstairs) on September 21st and 28th from 5pm-7pm.

Required forms are available on the 'Forms' page.  Please bring a copy of the player's birth certificate if new to Como.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• Supermites, C Mites, and Girls 8U - No refunds will be given.
• B Mites, A Mites, Girls 10U, Squirts, and Peewees - Players leaving CAHA prior to the seasonstarting will be refunded paid registration fees minus the non-refundable $175 registration/tryout fee.  Players leaving prior to November 30th will be refunded paid registration fees minus $350 registration/tryout and ice time fee.  For players leaving after November 30th the entire fee is non-refundable.
• Bantams - Players leaving CAHA prior to the seasonstarting will be refunded paid registration fees minus the non-refundable $175 registration/tryout fee.  Players leaving prior to November 20th will be refunded paid registration fees minus $350 registration/tryout and ice time fees.  For players leaving after November 20th the entire fee is non-refundable.

Please note that a registration/tryout fee will be paid at registration, with the remainder due after teams have been selected. Online fees reflect a subtraction of the $40 USA/MN hockey fee that will paid seperately.  See the descriptions below for additional information.
